Publishing to X (Twitter)
Connect an X account and post video, with the one caption rule that trips people up.
Connecting X
In Automation, Accounts tab, press "Connect" on the X row, sign in and approve posting access. Videos post to your X timeline.
No Links in the Caption
X posts cannot contain links. If X is selected and your caption has a URL, publishing stops with "Links are not allowed in X posts. Remove the URL from your caption, or deselect X." Remove the link, or deselect X and post the others. You can add the link in a reply on X after the post is live.
Tip
- If your post will not go through on X, check the caption for a URL, including a bare domain like example.com.
